How do you book a reservation?
We currently do not offer online reservations, but if you’d like to book a reservation, please call us at 225-686-7676. If the lines are busy, please leave a message and we will get back to you before closing hours.
Does this rate include tax?
The online rates do not include tax.
What discounts do you take?
We accept Good Sam’s; call 225-686-7676 for weekly and monthly rates.
What time is check in and check out?
Check in time: 2:00 PM
Check out time: 12:00 PM
What is your cancellation policy?
A 72-hour notice of cancellation is required or you forfeit your advance deposit. A cancellation fee of $10.00 will be applied to all cancellations. There are no refunds given on any campsite or cabin. We do not give refunds or camping credits due to the discomfort of nature.
Is site preference guaranteed?
Site preference is noted on reservation but is NOT guaranteed. We will do our best to honor your site preference; however, on occasion events beyond our control prevent our ability to do so. We reserve the right to adjust, alter, or raise rates without prior notification. We hope you enjoy your stay with us!
Do you offer cabins?
We have five cabins. Four of our cabins are fully-furnished with one bedroom. It also includes a double sleeper/sofa and comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. One of our cabins is fully furnished with one bedroom. It also includes two hallway bunk beds and a double sleeper/sofa. This cabin sleeps six and is also wheelchair accessible. All you need to bring is your food and personal items.
Is it pet-friendly?
We have two pet friendly cabins. We allow 1 medium size pet or 2 small pets. We require cats to be declawed. An additional $20.00 non-refundable deposit is required when booking with a pet. We maintain the right to refuse any animal we deem dangerous or a threat to our patrons.
Do you have special holiday rates?
Holiday rates are an additional $10/night except for Halloween weekends which are an additional $15/night. Number of nights depends on the holiday. Holidays include Easter, Halloween and 4th of July.
How far are you from New Orleans?
We are approximately an hour from New Orleans.
How far are you from Baton Rouge?
We are approximately 20 minutes from South Baton Rouge (Sherwood Forest area) and about 30 minutes from Downtown Baton Rouge.
Do you have monthly sites?
We do rent sites on a monthly basis. We require an application for consideration of a long-term stay. You can email us or give us a call for more information.
What do your monthly sites include?
Monthly sites include water, sewer and Wi-Fi. Electric is not included in the monthly rental.
Do you allow boats in the lake?
We allow boats with trolling motors only.
Can we bring our own Kayak/Canoes?
Yes, please do!
Do you have cable?
We currently do not have cable.
Do you allow golf carts?
Yes, we do. There is a $5/day charge.
Do I need to make reservations?
We encourage you to make reservations, especially for weekends and holidays.
Can I pick my own site?
Yes, of course. We can’t guarantee your favorite site will be available but we will do what we can to accommodate you.
Do you allow tent camping?
We do not allow tent camping as your only source of camping. If you would like to pitch a tent next to your RV site, that is not a problem.
Do you have a convenience store?
Yes, we have a generously stocked convenience store.
Do you have day passes?
We do not have day passes.
Do you need a fishing license?
You do not need a fishing license to fish in our pond.
Can we keep the fish?
Yes, of course…enjoy!
How many people per campsite are allowed?
We allow 2 adults and 3 children per camper. There is a small fee for additional occupants.
Are we allowed to have guests at our site?
Yes, you are allowed guests, however, please limit your guests to 5 per site. There is a nominal guest fee. If you would like additional guests, please inquire about renting one of our pavilions.
Do you have Wi-fi?
Yes, we have complimentary Wi-fi.
